Conclusion On POP3 Password - There are various email clients which supports POP3 Account and if i want to change my password on those it is a question of feature provided by Post office protocol and the specific email client.

There are certainly lots of internet users who using third party email clients such as Thunderbirb, outlook express for POP3 email accounts. Mean while sometime they require to change there password from those email clients.

If you want to change a password on windows live hotmail, gmail or in yahoo mail it is very easy because you open those email account on the browser of your computer and all the changes which you are going to made is changing the controls on the setting of your email account at their specific server.

But when we talk about POP3 email account those are the email account which provided by your ISP to you for managing your internet connectivity over the internet, and for using their email you need a email client such as thunderbird, outlook express etc.

What you can do to change account paasword of POP3 -

  • Contact your ISP provider customer service and ask them that is their service provide the facility to change an account password of POP3 with third party email client.
  • Check your email client setting is your client is capable to change the password of POP3 account.
  • Your ISP can provide you the web based interface which can use to change the password of your POP3 account.

As i struggle very much while i want to change the password because at that time i don't even know how to change and what the process i have to use for changing my POP3 account paasword.

In my opinion the best way to change password of the POP3 account is to contact the customer service of specific ISP and ask them to change it manually from there system. IT is the easiest thing which can do while you want to change the password of your POP3 account.
