How can i know if the email sent has been read by recipient?

Conclusion On Email Read By Recipients - There are a lot of services provided by email providers, and if i sent a mail to recipient then how can anyone know the email has been read by recipients.

Sometime ago i sent an email to one of recipient of my address book, and he said he doesn't got my mail into his mailbox, i was shocked because it was a very important email. he said the email address which you have sent has been not received by me so i didn't read the specific email.

Because of the security aspects email provider give recipients the power to choose which email they want to recieve and which they don't want to recieve.
Email recipient might be blocked you email address, that is why he/she can't recieve your email.
Email has been saved in trash or spam folder of the email recipients.
Email address or IP address has been blocked by email provider.

Those are one of the reason why email has not been recieved by recipients of mail.

One question you are thinking right now what is about email confirmation option which email provider gives you, it can easily tell you the email which you have sent has been recieved by recipient. but the question arise is that you just can get the delivery report from email confirmation mail.
