Why does HTML email look different to the email recipient than it does view for me?

Conclusion On Html email look - With html email format you can allign the email attractive and as well as manage to insert various documents like images, links etc which occassionally not been supported by email program if the email program set up for plain text format email.

I am using mozilla thunderbird for managing my email account. when i compose email with thunderbird or outlook it will look perfect but what happen is this when email recipient open this email the alignment become not that same as i composed with thunderbird or outlook. mainly align become different at that time when email has been open in other interface of email like web based email inface of email provider or other email program. Can you tell me Why does HTML email look different to the email recipient than it does view for me?

Yes, it is true that html can make email more attractive then the email composed on rich or plain text. But as it gives attraction on email like the email is a presentation for a particular topic or subject, Html also take some attraction for email too for example if the html is not supported by email program then all the text will display with the tag of html and your email need to look attractive even you can't find a single user can read your email at once.

As we know that html is developed only for the webpages which interact with user with help of server and client relationship but with email you can not say that email has been build or developed for the webpages. Email has been build up for the sending message from source to destination email address.

As technology is increasing and it want to cover up all the dimension .so emails also want to be a webpage and for this they stand a new theory where i said we can use "Webpages within the message" so now email which has been send by the popular email program . It may be read by the respective email programs also or can be read by the web based interface of email provider but if the html has been been supported by the email program then there is no way to read the email of html format on the email program.

So it is better to use plain format text for sending email .if your email recipient using email program.

If you think that still you have to send email with html format. Then might be you need to send it with your own risk.

While for successful delivery of the email of html format you need to use only those html tag which can be supported by the email program and here is the list of those tag which has been supported by almost all the email program.

You can use "Tables" in your email.
you use "link" tag in your email.
If you want to format your email text as per your requirement the you need to use "In-Line styles" within the email.

With those tags email program will display your emails with proper allignment.
